How Can I use the Event log to my advantage?

Hi all,

When I got my first BB three years ago I joined a forum to help me learn more about it. In my most recent visit I learned a little trick, by pressing alt and typing L-G-L-G the event log pops up, now I couldn't decipher all the stuff I was reading, but it was showing when I initiated a call, when I hung up, when something scanned something....

What I'd like to know is where I can find info to help me sort out what's what on that even log and I can possilby use it to my advantage? Like if an app keeps accessing the network, or using WAP, etc I can see it happening and delete it, etc etc.

Thanks in advance Guys!
Ted
