Wirelessly posted (RIM BlackBerry Curve 8300: BlackBerry8300/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/122)
Research in Motion (RIM) are expected to make basic document management functionality available in the upcoming BlackBerry OS upgrade, which should gradually become available over the next three months... As I understand it, users will then be able to upgrade to a "premium" version with more features, for a small fee, by contacting Dataviz (the company behind the document management software).
The upcoming document management software is called "DocumentsToGo" and whilst it's not actually available yet, you can review the list of expected features on Dataviz's Web site:
* http://www.dataviz.com
* http://www.dataviz.com/handheld/products/documentstogo/blackberry/index.html
Accessing the main URL (address) from your BlackBerry device will automatically re-direct you to their "mobile" site, optimized for your device's screen size... Both URLs (addresses) can be accessed from a computer also, for a more full-featured experience.
BTW, I have used Dataviz in the past and have always had great experiences with them, both with regards to software and also pre/after-sales support...
