I personally do believe that people have become too comfortable with technology these days and they simply forget about who may have access to electronic information. Even though employers currently aren't allowed to monitor content in emails or other electronic communications without an I.T Policy agreement don't take that for granted (someone can always see what you are up to). Always consider any information on your work computer, emails or phone as the property of your company and at any point it could come back to bite you. So just as a quick general overview of what is obtainable from an office computer network or communications device:

1. What time you log on or log off you computer
2. What emails you have received
3. What emails you have sent
4. What web sites you have visited and for how long
5. What calls you have made (and where you made them from)
6. What calls you have received
6. What files you accessed on network drives and at what time

I consider this like being on Big Brother and everyone eventually forgets that cameras are there. So as much as I disagree with Bosses having access to electronic information without your notice ALWAYS consider what you are typing in an email or what you are doing with work equipment.
