I recently purchased an 8120 outright and I'm using it on a standard Telstra voice plan with GPRS and MMS codes enabled. I do not have the Blackberry Email or Internet service activated.

I am able to browse with wifi without any problem, but I cannot get this working via GPRS. It did work for the first day, but then it stopped. I've rung Telstra multiple times and no one will help me. I get a different story each time.

I've put the APN of telstra.internet into the GPRS configuration on the Blackberry but I cannot see any area to put the MMSC and MMS GPRS configuration parameters.

Is MMS sent via the BlackBerry Internet service or can it be sent via the standard GPRS?

I'm not really that interested in the push email of Blackberry. I just want to be able to use the J2ME IMAP client I installed (LogicMail) and the standard GPRS browsing.

Did I buy the wrong device?
