BlackBerry smartphones running the following BlackBerry Device Software versions do not support changes in the DST rules for WA:
- BlackBerry Device Software earlier than 4.1.0.344
- BlackBerry Device Software 4.1.0.347
- BlackBerry Device Software 4.1.0.373
- BlackBerry Device Software 4.1.0.375 through 4.1.0.385
Now that you have upgraded to firmware 4.2 you should still download and install the DST patch. To install the patch using the Application Loader tool in BlackBerry Desktop Software,
