Error 2753 when upgrading to 6.1.0.35

Running BlackBerry Desktop Manager 6.0.2.44 on Windows 7 (64).

After running BlackBerry Desktop Manager I was prompted to upgrade to 6.1.0.35 so I initiated the update. The update downloaded fine & the install ran, then threw up this error.
Error 2753. The File 'MsOutlookApiProxy64.exe.D9D285E5_C9F0_4101_A12C_5 55AE1C1593F' is not marked for installation.

When I clicked on OK the upgrade process cancelled.

I am logged on under an administrators account.

Have tried downloading & retrying upgrade many times but always same result.

    Any ideas or suggestions appreciated.

    Hi,

I recommend that you perform a clean uninstall of the BlackBerry Desktop Software using the guide below. Once removed download a fresh copy of the latest installer and reinstall the software (DOWNLOAD LINK).

    Thanks,

I was having the same trouble i couldn't up date desktop to 6.1 so i uninstall as you said and then went to BlackBerry's website and down loaded it again and it worked fine i even backed up my phone to make sure it would work and no trouble at all.
