    Smile Q10 Arrival Rumours

I feel as if I'm the only one who has waited around for the Q10. I've been hearing lots of rumours about it. That it is likely to be released late April probably in the UK, then to Canada, the US and then us.

But i've heard that might not be until June in Australia which seems a very long time which I put down to probably carrier testing. Hoping it will be released before then through.

Also hearing that the Q10 is likely to carry a higher price tag then Z10.

Since all we have heard is rumours and aren't able to source any really facts from Blackberry or the carriers I'm wondering what rumours you have heard about the Q10? Hoping this thread will keep me inspired enough to wait it out

    Hi metro,

Telstra will be receiving the Q10 in June. That is not a rumour unfortunately. Definitely has something to do with carrier testing.

As for pricing, from experience, the more reserved (classic) blackberry devices carry a higher price. The 9700, 9780 and 9900 have always been more expensive than 9800 9810 and 9860 devices. Even though there is no pricing a of yet, I'd say this trend will continue.

I definitely think it will be worth the wait for that keyboard and blackberry 10 os!!

Thanks for clarifying the time frames. Maybe if my 9800 dies between now and June then I'll have a reason to buy a Z10 as well.

Do you know if Telstra will be offering the Q10 in white and if it will carry the blue tick for rural users?

+1 Even though the z10 is by far the best touch keyboard device (it actually adapts to my typing - Brilliant!) from BB that I have used, I will upgrade to Q10 upon its release, as i miss the keyboard too much.

The Q10 release will also introduce OS 10.1 which will be made available to the z10 around the same time. This is important for Enterprise and Government customers as it will utilize features of the updated BES 10.1 (which includes "Advanced" management features).

Also great to hear today that the Q10 will be released with 10.1 as well as with Skype installed.

Only another month and a bit to wait....can't come quick enough.

Sure do. I check Crackberry out daily for updates.

Everyone on the site sounds excited about the release of the Q10, only concerns I have heard is about the price. I'm hoping Telstra will be fair with their pricing and have some degree of flexibility with their plans. Had a look at at the Z10 plan tonight and noticed quite a large call allowance ($600) on offer that i probably wouldn't use, while only having a small amount of data (1gb) on offer which for me would probably result in excess data charges per month which would be a waste of money.

Great to hear your looking to join the 'Q10 Club'!
