Blackberry 7130G hangs up when taken out of holster

Hi,

I have just started with a 7130G. If the phone rings while in the belt case (holster), the moment I take it out of the holster it stops ringing and I loose the call.

Is there a setting to change this behaviour?

Hi Turpya,
Under your phone option settings, make sure you set 'Auto Answer Calls' to 'Out of Holster'. Save the setting and test.
Post back if you still have the problem after that.

Thanks for the reply Greg. Still having problems with losing calls when I take the phone out of the holster.

I cannot locate where to set 'Auto Answer Calls' to 'Out of Holster'. I'm going to:
'Profiles',
Edit normal profile,
Phone

Out of holster is set to 'tone'
In holster is set to 'vibrate + tone'

Am I in the right spot?

I want the phone to still ring when I take it out of the holster and I don't want it to answer the call unless I press the green answer button.

Hi John,
Try. 'Phone'>'Options'>'General Options'>set 'Auto Answer Calls' to 'Out of Holster' and 'Auto End Calls' to 'Into Holster'. Save settings and exit.
See how you go after that and drop back here if you are still having issues.
