  • Microsoft® Outlook® 2000 (Internet Mail Only mode)
  • BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.1.0.8
Problem

When attempting to synchronize the BlackBerry device, the following error is displayed on the computer:

The selected account for the calendar does not exist...

Resolution

To resolve this issue, complete the following steps:
  1. Ensure that the BlackBerry device is connected to the computer using the Universal Serial Bus (USB) cable.
  2. Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager, and type the password of the BlackBerry device, if prompted.
  3. Double-click Intellisync > Reset configuration.
Once the above steps have been completed, attempt to synchronize the BlackBerry device again.
