Okay, According to the on-device help file, I can change tracks (back and forward) in the media player by pressing "N" (for next) and "P" (for previous)... But is there a way I can do this whilst the media player is running the background? So far, I've only been able to work out how to change the volume and pause the music whilst the media player is running in the background...

I have just had a play and it doesn't appear that you can change tracks outside of the media player.

There are quite a few changes in the media player in OS 4.5. BerryReview have done a quick run-down at :BlackBerry OS 4.5 Eyecandy Screenshots - Part II - Media | BerryReview . However I can't see the change you are looking for but that's not saying it does not exist. I will have a look around over the weekend and see what I can come up with...
