3G? 8707v Displayed It 8310 Doesnt!

Does the 8310 have the 3G capability as it does not display the RIM or 3G icon next to the reception status? I noticed that my 8707v did thats all.

Hi,
The 8310 is not a 3G device (none of the Curve (83xx) or Pearl (81xx) series are). The next device RIM is releasing, the Bold (9000) will be a 3G device.

No, not able to video call from Curve. With the newer OS (4.5+) you can take video and send as email attachment but it is still in Beta at this stage.
