WiFi on 8310 Curve??

Is the 8310 curve WiFi abled? Looked @ WiFi set ups @ BBFAQs but did not relate

8x10's are gps devices
8x20's are the wifi devices
exception to that is the 8820 which is both

cheers. so this therefore cannot be used as a modem?

Hi,

A Blackberry 8310 can still be configured as a Tethered modem but as a GPRS\EDGE device it will only allow connectivity that would be similar to dialup internet. Also when using a BlackBerry as a modem you will require an additional data plan to cover otherwise you will be charged “Pay as you go” rates.
