Viigo, googlemaps and optus

Hi all,

Wondering about good applications to use on my 8300, in particular apps that i can use within the confounds of my optus blackberry cap unlimited data download limits...

For example i have heard viigo is a great app. the same with googlemaps... does the use of both these apps fall under my unlimited data plan?

Really interested in the combined application wisdom out there.

Thanks a bundle!

Chris

Hi Chris,
Both of these will be covered under your 'unlimited' BIS plan from Optus. Just make sure to set 'Default browser configuration' to 'Internet Browser in your device 'Advanced Options' settings. This will confirm that you don't use a WAP connection for the applications and rack up a big bill.
Not sure how the 8300 goes tethering a GPS puck but should work then you would be able to make the most from GoogleMaps.
Hope this helps.
Kind Regards,
Greg Myers
