8310 making calls while phone is locked

My BB 8310 is making random calls when the key lock is on. My partner and I both have the same phone, and his is making calls while it's sitting in his car, some going for quite some time and the call is being made to a person that isn't even on the recent calls list. Mine is not only making calls, it's also pressing quite a few keys and then making the call, I even found out today that it had even stored these into my address book!

Does anybody know how this can be fixed or give any advice!!???

Hi,

If you are sure you device is defiantly locked and you are still accidentally making calls the only other cause can be the voice dial feature. As a test we need to disable the voice dialling side convenience key to see if this resolves the issue. If possible can you please do the following:

1. Go to Options
2. Select Screen/Keyboard
3. Scroll down to "Left Side Convenience Key Opens" and change it from Voice dial to "Nothing"
4. Exit and Save.

Once you have had a chance to test to see if this was the issue it would be great to get some feedback.

Thanks,

Gary
