Optus $79 BlackBerry Cap

I'm wondering if anyone else is on the BlackBerry $79 cap and if so; do they know if visits to websites (eg Facebook, smh.com.au etc) are included in the cap?

Also what is $300 of calls and text equate to in talking time?

Any help for this BB newvbie would be appreciated

Hi,
If you are on the $79 BlackBerry Cap Plan with Optus then your web browsing is unlimited. You will not be charged any extra if you use Facebook, etc with this plan.
With regards to the call rate. The $300 worth of calls is charged at $0.30 per 30 sec period at peak rate. This would equate to around 500 minutes at peak period. You should also have the option to nominate 5 other phone numbers that you call regularly that will be charged at $0.05 per 5 minute period. This can cut your phone rate quite considerably.
