media player corrupted
I'm on Vodafone (in Australia) and have an 8310, last night my media player just crashed. It plays music and opens pics but will not play video of any format, it either comes up with file not supported etc or just sticks. I've tried all formats of file with no joy. Any ideas at all? Op system is V4.2.2.146. Not sure if this is a coincidence or not but it seems to have happened since I have done two things, one is to change my theme and the other was to delete the sample video that came with the blackberry. Hi,
The best solution for you would be to perform the following tasks: 1. Backup your device using BlackBerry Desktop Manager 2. Wipe your device by going to Options > Security Options > General Settings > Press the menu button and select Wipe Handheld 3. Restore your data using BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4. Log onto your BlackBerry Internet Service account and resend your service books. Thanks, Gary
