unable to edit forwarded emails with 8707

I have a new 8707 blackberry so am still trying to find my way around it. My problem at the moment is that i am in China and when i try to forward an email, i am not able to edit it and end up calling my office to forward it for me. I am able to use editing tools on new messages ok. Any ideas ?

Hi Carmel, the inability to modify messages that you forward is a security feature on Blackberry that can't be disabled. The only way around this issue is to copy the orginal email and past it into a new message.

Email Forwarding + Attachments

I understand that you can only copy and paste the original email but what about attachments that you may wish to forward with the new email. Is it possible to save attachments and then attach them to the new email?

You will need a third party product like Repligo to be able to save a forward attachments within new emails. Are you running on BIS or BES?
