A few q's to pick w/ bb!

Please help! I absolutely love my bb 8700 even tho it's an older model, but I just have a few bones to pick with it that just annoy me and my life would be a lot easier if these problems didn't exist!

- I use the calendar and tasks applications often, is it possible to have my upcoming events and tasks show on my home screen?
As I frequently forget to check the tasks I have entered and end up seeing them overdue or forgotten... oops.

- Is there any ANY way of using Mozilla Thunderbird as my calendar/email program instead of Outlook and it to sync with desktop manager as smoothly?
I use Thunderbird as my email program and have the Sunbird add-on so I can have both, as Outlook just won't work for me (I have hotmail as well)

- How can I download apps (games, etc) using my pc as I do not have internet and therefore can't download directly on my bb.
I have downloaded some themes to apply through my pc but they have been an incorrect file? I don't understand!

If you want all these items on the home screen you need to change your theme. Just go to "Options > Theme > Select BB Dimension Today"

I haven’t check the latest Desktop Manager 4.3 but I don’t believe any version will allow you to synchronize with Thunderbird etc.

If you are getting a message to say Desktop Manager can't find any software that is compatible for your device it's not necessarily the case. Before loading software you need to go to your service provider’s website and download the latest firmware. Once Desktop Manager has a copy of your devices firmware it will know what it compatible with your device. Post back with your service providers details if you don't know where to obtain the software.
