Outlook 2003 contacts in folders not visible

Firstly thank you to Gary for your detailed responses to my other posts. You are a real asset to this forum.

I have transferred all my contacts from old handset to Outlook contacts. Next I made folders and sorted my contacts - contacts, family, business. When I sync'd these to my BB, only the contacts folder transferred.

Should I have distribution lists instead of folders?

If folders are OK, what should I be doing to transfer all of them?

Hi,

All you need to do is go back into the synchronization configuration in Desktop Manager > Select Address Book > Select Advanced > Select Map Folder > Select your additional Contact Folders (as seen below).

That worked but it did add all the contacts not in the folders I had created. I just added them into groups via BB.
