Sametime on BlackBerry Device

Hi Gary, if you're reading this, Hope you had a great weekend.

I'd finally managed to installed Sametime on our new server. However, I can't get my device to connect to the Sametime server.
Please advice how I can go about configurating it to connect.

First we need to install the Sametime connector on BES 4.1 and then wirelessly deploy the agent to the handhelds. I will contact you in the next few days and explain how we need to configure it.

SameTime is now installed and is up and running. For everyones reference these are the steps we took:

1. Quit Domino
2. Stop all of the BlackBerry services
3. Rerun the BlackBerry installation. In this case it was the BES 4.1.3 installer
4. During the installation on the "Instant Messaging" tab we selected Sametime.
5. Continue through all the prompts until you are prompted to restart.
6. On reboot log back on and the installation will continue, leave all settings default until you are prompted for your Sametime server settings.
7. After entering the settings continue through all the settings screen leaving all options, you will finally be prompted to start the services and finish the install.
8. Once completed the server required a reboot to resume mail services to normal.
9. The Sametime client was wirelessly deployed to the handhelds.
10. The IT Policy item that was previously set to disable any 3rd party messenging services was turned off.
11. MDS and Collaboration service was set checked and set to enabled.
12. The users logged on via the sametime BlackBerry client and testing was performed.
