Angry (URGENT) arabic emails not readable in black berry.

Dear Experts,

i really have a real problem and need your experties to solve it, the issue is i have an email account in yahoo, and always the official emails from government agencies arrives in arabic language to my yahoo mail box, but when i open the yahoo mailbox i see all emails in different strange language (latin mixed with chinese) , this mails are forwarded to ny Black Berry handled 8700g, and it reach in the latin strange language,
now in IE when i go to view / encoding / then select the arabic language, the mail will be encoded to a correct areabic language and it will be readable for me, but what about the strange email recieved in my blackberry how i can encode it into arabic language, i really get confused and don't know how to solve this problem for ever. BECAUSE IF SOMEBODY SNED ME AN ARABIC SMS , i really can receive it in arabic and it readable to me, other arabic mails (other than yahoo) are readable, but only arabic emails comes from yahoo, are encoded to a strange language.

is there a settings need to be changed in the BB set or what, i really badly need to solve this issue.

I will follow this up tomorrow but it is common that BIS users can't encode a number of languages using the web service.

OK, I just made a few calls and I have found that you will have to install the multilanguage firmware on your device. Which service provider are you with? And what is the current firmware version you are running (OPTIONS > About)

Which languages does Multi-language Support?

- This package includes English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Hungarian, Czech, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, European Portuguese, Korean, Turkish, Greek, Catalan, Afrikaans, Danish, Dutch, Swedish, and Semitic (which includes Arabic and Hebrew).

The following functions will support Arabic:
  • Calendar, Address Book, Notes, MemoPad, and Tasks
  • Wired and wireless data synchronization
  • Editing functions (i.e., selecting, copying, and pasting)
  • Horizontal scroll bar location (it is left-justified)

If you provide us with the information that BESadmin requested in the post above we should be able to get this sorted for you. The solution will be getting the correct firmware on your device that supports Semitic.

I am currently searching for an update or support page for STC. Did you purchase the device from STC or did you purchase the device from another service provider? If it was another provider which one was it?

1. Install BlackBerry Desktop Manager on the device users PC
2. Download and install the Multi-language firmware on the same PC
3. Open Desktop Manager and connect the device
4. From Desktop Manager double click "Application Loader"
5. From Application loader follow the prompts, and at the software selection page ensure Semitic is selected. Continue to follow the prompts and the software and language pack will be installed (Takes approximately 30 minutes)

Note: If you can't access the Multi-language firmware from the original provider of the handset you will have to delete or rename the vendor.xml file located on the machine that has Desktop Manager installed. Once this file is removed you can download and install any firmware from any provider that provides updates for the 8700 device. As an example you can download the update from Cingular for the 8700c https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...E4F82F9F00E7D4
