Buying 8800 Out Right ...

Hi there,

If I bought the 8800 out right off someone like Telstra ... can I use the same phone with Vodaphone (BES will be through Vodaphone)? Is there any load up logos on the phones for the Telstra 8800s (are they Telstra branded)? Any issues with this at all? Anyone?

A BlackBerry device purchased from any provider can be used on a BES server. As an example it is common to have a BES that has Telstra, Optus, Vodafone and international users connected (e.g. T-Mobile). Currently all BlackBerry devices are preloaded with Branding logos that cannot be removed but this is purely a cosmetic feature that doesn't impact functionality on another network.
