The code above is correct for Optus but with Telstra you should use the following:
Message Bank Users:
**61*101*11*
25# (Press Send)
Memo Service Users:
**61*102*11*
25# (Press Send)
This command will extend your ring time before diversion from 15 to
25 seconds. When you change the diversion time it should be done in blocks of 5 to a maximum of 30 (e.g 15, 20, 25 or 30).
