8800 Event Log Entries - What do they mean

Hi All,

Thanks to this forum I was able to download a little utility that allows me to connect to my 8800 device and view its event log.

I have recently experienced an outage where I was not able to send or receive email for approx 12 hours. No other device users experienced the same issue and even after stopping and restarting connections (including a full reboot) I still could not send or receive mail.

It finally came good this morning so I connected the device and took a look at the event log. The event log is full of entries around the time of the outage but nothing really stands out.

Is there a glossary of some sorts that provides a definition of the Severity levels of these event log entries that may assist me in determining why the outage occurred.

Any assistance is appreciated and can even post some of the event log entries if required.

I just checked with RIM and there is no public document available. I will have a look into it for you to see what I can find.
