Google Mobile phone apps

We appear to be having several issues with Google Mobile phone apps on our BB 8830 World phones from Verizon. We are using BES 4.1.5. But we are seeing issues with emails disappearing, contacts not syncing, and calendar entries disappearing after they are entered. The one common thing we are seeing is users adding the Google Mobile apps to the devices which include Search, GMail, Google Calendar and Address Book. Is anyone having issues like this that they can point to the Google apps as the problem? thanks...
