Problem with Trackball

I'm having a problem with my trackball, when i connected my Blackberry to the computer the trackball wouldn't move up/scroll up and now it's still doing it????

I had this happen to me one timewith my Pearl, and whilst I don't know of course if it is the same scenario (it just stopped working and had nothing to do with connecting to the laptop), but I undertook a battery pull, and upon restarting, the problem disappeared.

Worth a try?

Hi,

It also may be worth performing a firmware upgrade on your device as version 4.5 is available from almost all carriers now. Let us know what carrier your device is from and the current firmware version (Options > About > Third line) and we can post back with the upgrade steps for you.
