Telstra end of life for 8800

Just in case someone was going to order one.
We've been advised by Telstra that the 8800 Blackberry is currently flagged as End Of Life, so only existing stocks will available. We're still waiting to hear of the 8820 will be it's replacement, or just the Bold.

Hi,

It would be a very safe assumption that the 8820 won't be released by Telstra and the Bold will be its direct replacement.

Thanks,

Gary

Apart from lack of camera (which would be a positive for I guess sensitive type security positions), I can't see any advantages the 88xx series have over the new Bold, so I would assume the Bold would replace the 88xx.

But, if you needed a BlackBerry without camera.... 88xx is perfect
