Optus 8800 Firmware and Facebook App

Hi,

This is a two part topic.

Firstly: My current phone firmware is 4.2.1.101 and I was wondering if there is any higher versions and if so where can I get them for Optus?

Second: I've been using facebook on my 8800 through the browser, and keep getting messages about a blackberry facebook app. If I download this app, will it be included in my BIS plan, or is it one of those awful WAP charge things?

Thanks,

-Hank

Just incase you don't see my other post, I'm letting you know the link for the optus firmware doesnt work. It returns a "404" error.

Hi,

Currently no Australian provider can offer Blackberry services on a pre-paid SIM.

Thanks,

Gary

All GPS applications for BlackBerry download mapping data as it is required, you will need a data plan for this service to function correctly.
