lost music files?
 . I was setting the profile ringtone and the device apparently used my music files located on the microSD card. After having set the ringtone i went to play my music, but the media player shows no music . the amount of free space on the SDcard indicates that the files are still on there, but not visible to the media player(Whew!!) .Does anyone have an idea of what's going on?

easier way is to plug it into a PC, say YES to enable mass storage.
In theory (on a windows PC at least) you should have 2 USB drive show up (on Blackberry, One SD card) have a look under there for MP3 & other music files. If you don't get 2 drives showing up, then maybe you need to re-insert your SD card.

This issue can normally be resolved by a hard reset (remove and reinsert battery).
