JAR games on 8800

ive downloaded games in the past and they worked on my phone but today ive downloaded a few java games (.jar) and they dont show up when i try to load them using the desktop manager? is my phone not java equipped? i downloaded them from this site Free Blackberry 8800 Software / 8800 Games - mobile9

some of these games are awesome and rly want it to work

Hi,

For Blackberry applications to be loaded correctly onto your device they need to be in .alx\.cod for Desktop loading and .jad for OTA installation. Technically you can copy a .jar file to your media card and install it from "Media Manager > Press Menu > Select Explore" but it is common for these applications not to work correctly on your device.
