Converted Video is not full screen

Hi guys,

I am using a 8800 with OS v4.5. I use Media Manager (from Desktop Manager 4.6) to convert an .mp4 video file to transfer it to my phone, the problem is now the converted files are only 240x180 pixels while the 8800 screen is 320x240 pixels so that I cannot view the video in really full screen .
Actually some previously converted files were 320x240 but now it only produces 240x180 files !

Anyone would be kind to help me on this? Many thanks!

Hi,

In Media Manager go to Tools > Options and from memory there should be some settings for quality settings.

Thanks,

Gary

Thank you GariCutri! But it doesn't work..

When the blackberry is unplugged I can see the full options under "Video quality" that indicates the video size. However, when I (via USB port) connect the blackberry, the "Video quality" just shows only "Highest, Medium and Low" choices...

Is it the phone firmware problem or should I use another version of Desktop manager?

Thanks!

What I recommend is uninstalling DM 4.6 and after a reboot download and install Desktop Manager 4.7. As an alternative to Media Manager I use a program called "BlackBerry Media Studio" as it is faster and does a better job converting videos. More Info: DVD and video to Blackberry - only two clicks needed
