Removing old email addresses
I converted from an older BB to a Curve (8830) and did the called for backup from the old and restore to the new. But now I have an icon for an enmail address that does not exist and can't remove it by going through the mail setup. Any suggestions?

Delete the associated Service Book for that email account and you should also log onto the BIS console previously used to setup the account on the old phone and remove the device from the BIS setup. If the device gets reused its l;ikely the BIS service will keep forwarding mail to the old device if you dont do this. (Sorry no suggestions as to Verizon's BIS portal address).

The service book will be located in “Options > Advanced Options > Service Book” so just highlight the entry displaying the unwanted email address > press menu > Select Delete.
