  3. Select Show All.
To show a hidden icon once visible:
  1. Select the transparent icon on the Home screen that you wish to keep visible.
  2. Press the Menu key (to the left of the trackball).
  3. Deselect Hide Icon.

Is there a way to set up a default 'desktop' that only contains specific icons on the 8800 without the need to go to each device and hide or move each icon not used by the user?

It would be good if you could set this via the IT Policy on the BES so when activating a device you could determine what theme and desktop icons are available for use.

Hi Kelly,

One option would be to create a custom theme using Plazmic theme builder and push it wirelessly to the device. Using this method you only need each user to do is go to "Options > Theme" and they will have all the same settings. I have found over time most people will have different themes, fonts etc so it is hard long-term to maintain a default view.

Thanks,

Gary

Thanks for your reply Gary, I will give the Theme Builder a look at and see if it meets our needs.
