The following list contains supported wireless local area network (WLAN) layer 2 security methods:
- Open authentication (no security method)
- Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) encryption (64-bit and 128-bit)
- IEEE® 802.1X with preshared key (PSK)
- IEEE 802.1X and Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP)
- Lightweight Extensible Authentication Protocol (LEAP)
- Protected Extensible Authentication Protocol (PEAP)
- Extensible Authentication Protocol Transport Layer Security (EAP-TLS)
- Extensible Authentication Protocol Tunneled Transport Layer Security (EAP-TTLS)
- Extensible Authentication Protocol Flexible Authentication via Secure Tunneling (EAP-FAST)
