There are multiple methods of connecting to an enterprise Wi-Fi® network.
- A system administrator may create a wireless local area network (WLAN) profile on the BlackBerry® Enterprise Server and push a Wi-Fi profile to the BlackBerry smartphone. The Wi-Fi profile on the BlackBerry smartphone allows connection to the enterprise Wi-Fi network from within the Wi-Fi coverage area once the Wi-Fi connection is active. Contact the system administrator for more information.
- To connect to an enterprise Wi-Fi network by scanning for available Wi-Fi networks, see KB13365.
- To connect to an enterprise Wi-Fi network by manually adding a Wi-Fi network, see KB13363.
Note: Enterprise Wi-Fi networks employ network security measures. The BlackBerry smartphone user requires valid security credentials to connect to an enterprise Wi-Fi network. In addition, enterprise Wi-Fi networks may require valid virtual private network (VPN) credentials. Contact the system administrator for more information.
