Car Charger

I have a car charger for my O2 Atom which fits and I'm wondering if i can use it to charge my shiny new Blackberry 8300. I know the official line is probably No, but what is the acceptable volt/amp requirements?

O2 and Imate chargers will work fine. The only charger with the same connector that doesn't work is one from a Motorola device. The simple test is to connect the charger and you should see a power plug symbol appear beside the batter level indicator, if it doesn't appear the charger isn't compatible.
