Saving web site passwords

I have been looking at 'Minuet' web browser as this does save login passwords but tried to download it but cant!!Does anyone know of browsers that do save passwords apart from the initial default one. Its driving me mad having to go into my diary and look for passwords then go into the web site and type them in.....I even tried copy and paste but Opera Mini does not do the switch application(web tabbing it is??)where you can put on hold a web page......Any ideas pleeeease!!

Hi,

The "Minuet Browser (BlackBerry Edition)" can be downloaded via Handango but it is not free. As you will see in the link below it is $19.95US but it does support Auto-fill usernames and passwords.

Minuet Browser (BlackBerry Edition) : Handango

I have tried Opera Mini and Bolt and none of these Browsers save usernames and passwords.

Thanks,

Gary

How did you download the application? How did you try and install it?

Both ways. Unzipped it on my PC then used the Desktop Manager etc. I also installed it straight from my phone and downloaded that way. I have searched some forums and they say you need to have BES but I dont. So may have to give up. I have found a sort of way of doing it on Opera Mini and thats to copy and paste. Sort of works but a bit fiddly. Just hoped Minuet might of resolved it for me but it hasnt so far!

After reading a review on Minuet Browser I noticed the following:

"Minuet will allow Blackberry owners to surf HTML sites even if you don't have BES (Blackberry Enterprise Server) by using HTML over a WAP gateway."

This indicates it doesn't need a BES but if you use WAP data on most BlackBerry plans your will be charged extra for the data usage.
