Cannot open 2007 word documents
I cannot open word 2007 documents attachments on Blackberry Bold 9000. What would be the cause of this? How can i view the attachment?

Hi,
This issue can be caused by the BES configuration or the version you have running (BES 4.1 with SP3 and MR3 is recommended). The most common cause it that your device it trying to download the attachment as this is failing. As a test please click on an attachment and select "Download Attachment" and try and save it to the Media Card's Documents folder. If this fails repeat the process and save it to the Device Memory documents folder. Let us know the result of this test but also ensure you try the "View" option instead of "Edit with Documents to Go". Thanks, Gary

Attachments
Hello, I too am having trouble with all attachments, whether Pdf, or .doc etc. I am unable to view, and/or open anything.
Can somebody please suggest?? I have downloaded the latest BB Desktop Manager.

hello,
thank you for replying. i used my device on to add my 2 x emails - both personal (not enterprise) one is AAPT and the other Yahoo. No, i do not have the 'Redirector' Icon on my PC. (Programs > BlackBerry)
