Bold Firmware Random Restarting and Trouble Recoonecting
Hello,
Just wondering if anyone can advise me on the correct way to update my Bold Firmware. I just bought secondhand (but new) Bold originally from Telstra - however I'm running it with Optus. (so do I need Telstra firware, Optus firm ware or any any remove the vendor file?). It is giving me bit of grief reconnecting to the network after being in a lift etc and randomly restarting itself and I thought a firware upgrade might help (currently running 4.6.0.144). Thanks in advaince for any advice
You should use the Telstra firmware and at this stage this firmware is much newer. So all you need to do is download the firmware using the link below and install it onto your PC running BlackBerry Desktop Manager. Once installed open Desktop Manager and connect your device and you will be prompted to upgrade. Just follow the prompts and if you are unsure of anything just press Next\OK etc as the default settings will do everything you need.
