Outlook Sync Repeats

New to the whole Blackberry experience. Having a few issues with the sync process to outlook. Just syncing via USB. The process works fine except that the same 4 contacts and 5 or 6 calendar items keep coming up for me to accept, time and time again. I accept them, but the next time I plug in, there they are again. this can happen several times a day. Everytime it is the same items. Makes the process a bit long winded. I have the calendar set to sync 7 days previous and 21 days ahead. Some of the items are from 6 months ago. Something to do with re-occuring appointments I think.
ANY IDEAS as our IT guys are stumped.
Sorry have just looked through some other posts and saw Palerider having some similar issues. The error message about skipping some sync contacts etc. i will need to be walked through the process I think.

Hi,

Assuming everything on your device is synchronized with Outlook you can do the following:

1. Open Desktop Manager and connect your device
2. Ensure your device performs a full synchronization
3. Select Backup and Restore and perform a backup
4. Whilst still in Backup and Restore select the Advanced menu
5. In the right windows highlight Contacts, Contacts - All, Calendar and Calendar - All.
6. At the bottom of the right window select Clear to remove the selected data from the device.
7. Exit back to the main screen and perform a synchronization to place all the data back onto the device
8. Repeat the process to see if you are prompted to confirm the changes again.

Thanks,

Gary

GaryCutri is a legend.!!!!! Thanks Mate. i was about 1 day away from throwing the device across the room. I followed the steps, but the same error code kept coming up for 2 of the contacts. Calendar was fixed but the contacts just wouldn't mend. I ended up deleting the 2 problem contacts from Outlook on the P.C. and all is well. Cant see anything that was wrong with them to be honest.
I have now discovered that I am having a problem holding contacts in Outlook on my P.C which is a whole new issue that I doubt has anything to do with my Blackberry. All the same, problem resolved. Thanks for the help !!! This forum is a Godsend

I re-entered the 2 contacts in question back into Outlook on the P.C. Ran through the sunc process and all has matched up OK so I don't know what the problem was.
I am now synching the crap right out of my device whick I have been trying to do for the last 2 weeks. I am making it all happen tonight. I am on fire...

Thanks Gary
