Smile The "Weird" reason for using bold

that was the long story, i was using my iphone 3G with $59 cap + and paying $29 upfront in my optus contract. However, the disaster happened last week while i went to watch transformer 2 and i lost my iphone in the cinema. So i clled up the customer service to unlock my iphone so that the asshole who stole my iphone would not able to use it. And i look for the new phone on ebay and finally i found the right mbile "Blackberry Bold" and the right price (but it is second hand). So i paid and got it and i called the customer service to change to BB plan which is $79 per month which is month by month plan (that's awesome!) but i need to pay $50 extra for changing fee and still have to for my iphone upfront for next two months!
Anyway, that's the reason why i switch to bb and I'm totally loving it.

Hi and welcome to the forum,
If you sign to a 24 month contract then Optus should null the $50 change over fee. (They should null it anyway as your not changing carriers and is only a matter of changing a few numbers within their database)
If you have any questions on your new Bold, feel free to ask.
Kind Regards,
Greg Myers

Thanks for your information. I knew that if i signed the 24 months contract, i won't need to be charged for changing fees. But i don't want any contract to be bounded with so i just pay $79 month by month. So i can terminate my plan as long as i want to.
