Hi All,

I am having problems network wide with our blackberry bold handhelds when creating calendar appointments. It appears one hour behind on the microsoft outlook calendar. We also have a Blackberry Enterprise Server version 5 on the network that is used by the devices.

Blackberry Bold handheld firmware version is 4.6.0.282. The time on the blackberry is appearing correctly , but why does it show an hour behind on outlook ? All servers have the correct times and I am confused why this?

I am also a newbie to the Blackberry Enterprise server with limited knowledge and excuse my silly questions on how things are done...

Hi,

Please download the attached zip file and unzip\run it on your Blackberry Server whilst being logged on as BESadmin. After this reg patch has completed just reboot your server and the issue will be corrected. With any registry patch I always recommend that you take a registry backup before proceeding.

Thank you for the prompt reply. I am a bit wary of importing registry changes , but is this definitely the fix to problems experienced at our workplace?

Hi Gary

I'm in NSW, runniong latest device firmware, Windows and Outlook patches.

I get an error ONLY when creating the calendar entry from the BB, where my Outlook and any meeting invitees will reflect the invitation for one hour later.

When a meeting is created through Outlook, this is reflected correctly on the Blackberry.

Is this error resolved by the reg fix?

Assuming the BES has the latest cdo.dll (run “Microsoft Update” to check) version and Exchange is patched correctly this will resolve the issue.
