Calendar Sync issues

I'm constantly having issues with sync'ing my calender. It either doubles (sometimes triples) on both my device and Outlook or Outlook doesn't sync with my device at all.

I thought I fixed the sync issue when I changed from 'Device Default' to one of my email addresses.

Well now it doesn't double up, but what I enter on the BB will not be sync'ed by Outlook, even though I have the calander sync options as 'Two-way'

I've tried to look at how to go back to 'Device Default' but that doesn't exist anymore.

Can someone please help me to synch what I enter on my device, and what I enter on my outlook to be mirror'd by one another.

Hi,

In order to clear this issue we will need to clear device calendars and then resync a fresh copy from Outlook. To clear the calendars follow the steps below:

1. Connect the device to Desktop Manager > select Backup and Restore > Perform a Backup.

2. Still within Backup and Restore select Advanced > Select "Calendar" and "Calendar - All" (if present) in the right window

3. Select "Clear" at the bottom of the right window to erase the Calendar database from the device

4. On the device go into Options > Advanced Options > Default Services > Ensure Calendar is set the same as Contacts > Exit and Save

5. Resync your device.

What do you mean in point 4 by "Ensure Calendar is set the same as Contacts"

Because I have made those changes, but when I go to Defualt Services>under Calendar (CICAL) There is no option for Default device, only my other email accounts.

As a result, now I have an empty calander on my device, and when trying to sync, nothing is transferred from outlook to my device or device to outlook.

If Contacts isn't listed ensure Calendar is set the same as Messaging (CMIME).
