Angry Vodafone Musicstation - Not Preloaded on my BB Storm

Has anyone else noticed that Musicstation has not been preloaded?

I've tried to d/l it from VF Live on my Storm and it will not allow me to do it - message is that my handset is not compatible!

I've also tried to d/l it through the application centre on my BB Storm menu and it delivers an error saying that it cannot find the download....

I've contacted Vodafone and they say it should appear in the next few days. Does anyone know what I should do? I'm running on 4.7.0.65

Ross

Thanks Greg, but as i've already stated - this does not work.

I'm receiving this exact error message:

"Problem Locating Dowload - Could not find download. The problem has been reported. Please try again soon. (ref: X9001)"

This error message has not changed for 24 hours.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Same issue here. I would just wait a bit until Voda rectify the issue.

Rightio - Glad its not just my Storm. Typical of VF - even when they are to be the only Network offering and have no need to bring a product to market half-finished to be first, they still screw it up and produce a half-baked offering......

Hi,

If everyone could ring Vodafone and report the issue you will find it will be resolved quickly.

Thanks,

Gary

Or just click on the application in the 'Application centre' as this is registering the fault with the server.

hi, just registered to let you know im having the same problem. Spent a few hours last friday making calls back and forth to support. Had one guy helping who insisted that it was an unknown issue. Tried different things like wiping my BB sending service books etc. all did nothing. I was told that my only option is to try another phone to determine if its just me or a general problem. I did let them know that a few others have commented about it on forums, so it cant just be me.

Also read on another forum one comment saying that the storm will not be supporting musicstation, but i dont know if theres any truth in that. So thats where im at, very frustrating...not sure what to do about it. I really dont want to try a new phone, ive got this one all setup nicely.

Early next year, RIM are introducing a full Desktop manager for Apple OS. With any luck this will include iTunes support. (I'm just surmising here ). If this happens then most of the current music syncing issues will be solved (No doubt, will bring with it a whole new world of glitches and problems, but if it syncs up anything like the iPhone then it's a giant leap forward)
