Well Greg I um...*clears throat*... do the same thing I did with my Bold, my Pearl, my 8800, and my 8700.... stick it back in my pocket til I get somewhere I can charge it! LMAO!
Honestly I never bought a spare battery for any of my other devices because I was always near a PC or power point and I always carried my sync cable with me for my BB, and the habit's carried over with my iPhone
But back on topic (and my apologies for digressing) I do hope AppWorld hurries up already because it's one of the reasons I defected.
And I know the major case that everyone puts forward is that RIM isn't going to bend over backwards for it's consumer market at the expense of the Enterprise Market. But I think that the two are really going to end up being one and the same.
I used to carry in my pockets: my phone, an electronic organiser, and MP3 player. and these are on top of the usual keys, wallet, etc.
Doesn't sound like much but in a pair of jeans it can get a little crowded!
Enter mobile phones with organiser features and MP3 playing capability! WOOHOO! and so on and so forth with Smartphones.
Honestly I'm not going to carry two devices unless my company turns around and says "Ted here's a BB." As I'm not going to pay two plans (for one person anyway).
so I want something that will do what I want it to do at work (which incidently I don't need for my job atm....) and do what I want to do at home as well.
I just wish RIM would take some more risks in that area. Every Tech Blog I read (even the ones that are very Pro BB) complain about RIM's "Ageing OS" and how it's not really designed to try to make the giant leaps that Smartphones seem to be making. I'm still very brand loyal to RIM and if anyone says they need a smartphone for work I'm going to recommend a BB hands down, because let's face it RIM have done one thing and done it VERY well.
But c'mon guys get with the program because even if you're on the right track you'll get run over if you just sit there!
