Clearing contacts from Storm SIM card

I've tried to search the net hoping the directions for this task were available but to no avail; so here is the question.
I have transferred all my contacts from the SIM card to the phone. When I attempt to clear the SIM card I go 1) to contacts, 2) to SIM phone book, but from there I can find no delete option. I can find delete options from the phone contacts but not from the SIM card.
Does anybody have any suggestions?
Cheers,
Grant

I don't have a Storm, but on OS4.5/6 you can only delete individual contacts via menu -> delete

Hi,

As Supabrudda mentioned you do need to individually delete SIM contacts. To speed up this process just highlight the first contact and press "DEL" and then "D" repeatedly until all the contacts are removed.

Thanks,

Gary

I have no "delete" option to select from!
I can delete from the Storm phone book with the X button, but there is no X button or delete option in the SIM phone book menu. Once in the contacts I select the BB menu button, from there I select the SIM phone book, from there I have no delete option so I choose the BB menu button, the menu that then comes up has no delete option available to me.

Problem solved!

If I select a number that is associated with my service provider it must be embedded into the SIM card and not erasable. If I select one of MY entered numbers, I get a "delete" option.
Thanks for your deliberations, guys.
Cheers,
Grant
