Hi,
As this feature has worked in the past the first step would be to restart your device by removing and reinserting the battery. After the restart please try recording a test 40 minute voice note and confirm if the issue has been resolved (even just leave it recording the radio just in case it fails). If you are still experiencing the fault there are two things that I would recommend to resolve the issue and improves the devices performance. The first is to upgrade your device to the latest official firmware and the second is to backup and then format the MicroSD card.
Upgrade the Device Firmware:
1. Download the latest firmware using this
LINK
2. Install the firmware onto your PC running BlackBerry Desktop Manager
3. Connect your device and open Desktop Manager
4. When prompted select "Upgrade Now" (If you are not prompted select Applications Loader > Update)
5. Follow the prompts and your device will be upgraded.
6. As your profile states that you are on BES (BlackBerry Enterprise Server) you will need to contact your work and reactivate your device.
Note: This process can take up to 30 minutes; please do not interrupt this process even if the device appears to be taking a long time to start.
Format the MicroSD
1. Connect your device to your PC
2. When prompted on your deice select "Yes" to enabled Mass Storage Mode
3. On your PC open "My Computer" (or "Computer" on Vista) and open the second BlackBerry Drive that appears
4. Open the Blackberry Folder
5. Copy all data you wish to retain to your PC
6. After you have transferred the data disconnect your device from the PC
7. On the device go to Options > Memory > Press Menu > Select Format > Select Media Card
Thanks,
Gary
