Tour 9630

telus 9630 with optus sim as per my previous post. the phone, email etc are all working fine.... just the "activation required" message on top but optus say that shouldn't effect anything..... ok my next questions are:

1. try turning camera on. message "could not start the camera. close other applications and try opening the camera again. .... but no ther applications open.

2. video .... says to record a video insert a media card.... but there is one allready inserted.

3. for some strange reason, i dont have any options for tasks and memo pad as per my other 2 blackberries... is this not available on 9630?

many thanks

Hi,

I recommend that you try upgrading the device firmware as this should correct the camera\video issues.

Thanks,

Gary

thanks for the advice. I tried that, seems the handset had some issues ????? took it back for a refund. Looking for a storm 2. just dont know which model will best suit me on optus. I am not too technically minded so my bold 9000 and curve 8310 that were aus models were nice and easy to set up when new.
