I was going to upgrade, but unsure if I should move to 4.6. Should I do this next? Also I get an error:

Can you help? Thanks a bunch!

Workaround

Workaround 1

Perform an advanced search in Microsoft Outlook to find contacts with empty First Name, Last Name, and Company fields.
  1. In Microsoft Outlook, open Contacts.
  2. Click Tools > Find > Advanced Find.
  3. Click the Advanced tab.
  4. Click Field.
  5. Click Frequently-used fields > First Name.
  6. In the Condition drop-down list, select is empty.
  7. Click Add To List.
  8. Repeat steps 4 to 6 for Last Name and Company.
  9. Click Find Now.
  10. Modify any empty fields that appear in the search results.
  11. Synchronize the BlackBerry smartphone using the BlackBerry® Desktop Manager.
If you do not find any contacts containing empty fields, use advanced logging to find the corrupt entry in the address book. To turn on advanced logging, see KB01451.

Workaround 2

Complete the following steps:
  1. Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
  2. Click Synchronize.
  3. Select the Configuration tab.
  4. Click View log.
  5. Select Edit, then Find. Alternatively, press Ctrl+F.
  6. Type the word skip, then click Find Next.
  7. Delete the entry that is causing the problem in either Microsoft Outlook or on the BlackBerry smartphone, depending on where the corrupt entry is located.

There was a total of (1) records skipped during the syncronization as summarized belo

I fixed this by deleting all my Outlook contacts, then resyncing with the Blackberry to recreate them.
