Hi,

The version you have posted is from Simobile in Slovenia. All carriers test their firmware releases and include any unique tweaks or settings for their network before they release them. If Optus has made any changes they will not be included in the version you posted.

Thanks,

Gary

Issues ?

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has had any issues with this firmware/optus, specifically, deploying apps from a BES ?
We can deploy apps, they appear in the applications list, however we can't find them anywhere.
Thanks

I have not had this issue (rememeber to check in the Downloads folder) but you should look at updating your device.xml and vendor.xml and reindexing your applications.

To download the updated device.xml and vendor.xml files, complete the following steps:
  1. Right-click the link for each of the following web sites and select Save Target As or Save Link As.

    https://www.blackberry.com/Desktop/D...XML/Device.xml

    https://www.blackberry.com/Desktop/D...XML/Vendor.xml

  2. Save the files to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader.

Thanks for your response but no cigar. I'd updated those files recently. I think it may be a bigger problem though. I'll keep working on it.

Can you please confirm that applications are not present in the "Downloads" or "Applications" folder on the device?
